Figures from Public Health England (PHE) reveal that diseases caused by high blood pressure are estimated to cost the NHS over 2bn a year.  However, exercise could prevent or cut this down.

Researches found that 12 months of exercise – based rehabilitation significantly slowed the rate of blood pressure and kidney function decline.
